Pillar Wellness Expands its Team for an Impressive Lineup

We are pleased to announce that we have added five new contractors to the team, making us nine strong.  Each of these individuals brings such depth and experience:  nutrition, health coaching, essential oils, meditation, yoga, exercise physiology.  We can design a wellness program that suits your needs.

Meet the team:

Me

Richard Butler: Personal Trainer, Coach, Professor of Organizational Leadership
Richard has been a Fitness Professional for over 30 years. He trained and coached thousands of recreational, Olympians, as well as athletes in the NFL, NHL, and members of the USA Karate Team. He is a mentor to many of Pittsburgh’s best fitness professionals. As the Inclusion Manager for United States Rowing Association (USRowing) he is charged with helping diversify the Olympic Sport of rowing. He is certified from Life Long Learning, Graduate Coach U, and is a certified licensed Coach Facilitator. He has an MS in Organizational Leadership from Geneva College and a BS in Communications from Slippery Rock University. He is also a 2x United States Karate Federation (USKF) 35plus National Karate Champion.

Jen Ferris-Glick: Yoga and Meditation Instructor

Jennifer is the owner of Agnistoka Yoga. Jennifer is engrossed with behavior, specifically how individuals experience, learn, and heal through the lens of contemplative science. Jennifer uses meditation, yoga, and therapeutic techniques to assist individuals, not only with their physical bodies, but their mental, and spiritual bodies as well. She works with individuals who are experiencing physical symptoms from stress, as well as under-served populations (e.g., victims of trauma, domestic violence, alcoholics and addicts).

Jenni Costello: Coach, Registered Dietician, Psychotherapist, Personal Trainer
Jenni has worked with individuals regarding nutrition and exercise for the past 5 years. After her work with people in Chicago, St. Louis and now Pittsburgh, she recognizes what stands in the way of clients reaching their goals, is not the specifics of their exercise program or meal plan, but rather their behavior, attitude, self esteem and motivation. As a result, she obtained her Masers in Social Work and now also works as a psychotherapist. She believes that health must be addressed both inside and out.

 

Andrew Wade

Andrew Wade: Registered Dietician
Andrew offers a broad array of consulting services, including custom meal plans and nutrition and lifestyle coaching. He operates from the ideal that the path to wellness for each person is unique, and works with his clients to achieve their individual goals. In addition to his practice, Andrew manages the nutrition blog for the Pittsburgh Post Gazette Community Voices page, is the Diversity chair for the Pennsylvania Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and is part owner and active member of the Pittsburgh Fitness Council.

Jenni Hulburt: Fitness & Lifestyle Coach; Essential Oils Educator
Jenni’s mission is to inspire people in health and movement – in their body and life. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, a Master’s in Kinesiology, and is an educated researcher in body image, chronic pain, exercise psychology, and motivation. Jenni is a doTERRA wellness advocate, essential oil educator, and leader in wellness entrepreneurship as a health and business mentor to a growing team of doTERRA wellness advocates. She is a movement maven, the creator of the Inspire Workouts, as well as the author of two e-books, The Dirt Detox and Essential Juices and Smoothies. Her work has been featured online in Trail Runner Magazine, Runner’s World, Women’s Adventure Magazine, and Mind Body Green.

Mary Beth Guzzetta: Personal Trainer
Mary Beth Guzzetta is a personal trainer and Weight Loss Specialist certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Her approach to wellness is client-specific, flexible, and concerned first and foremost with building strong, stable, healthy bodies. She is passionate about the idea of growing stronger, happier, and more confident in our bodies as we age, and equally passionate about helping others find their own path to doing the same.

Megan Sicheri:   Personal Trainer, Group Exercise Guru, Fitness Educator
Megan Sicheri is a ACE certified Fitness Coach. She has spent 10+ years in the fitness industry helping people improve their fitness and health. She loves teaching group classes and working with clients one on one. Megan loves helping clients find a way to make fitness an every day lifestyle. As a published writer on a variety of health topics, she is committed to spreading the word about the importance of a healthy, happy fit-life. She is dedicated to making Pittsburgh a healthier city and encouraging people to move more!

Meredith Dykstra: Wellness & Lifestyle Coach, Wellness Educator
Meredith was born and raised in Somerset, PA but likes to think of New Orleans as her second home. She received a BA in psychology from the College of Wooster and completed the heath coach training program at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She is a certified health coach registered with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Meredith also studied the macrobiotic approach to health for over 3 years at Kushi Institute, graduating from the leadership program, and has studied functional medicine as well. Meredith has an interest in all things related to health and a passion for helping others. She adores working with clients to support them in maximizing their health, living their best lives, and creating a ripple effect to change the world.
